Welcome to the 4th of July Parade website. from this page you will be able to get all the information you need to march with us on the 4th of July thru the quiet streets of West Peoria. This will be our 41st year and we are looking forward to another safe and enjoyable parade for all.

Getting Started:

Invite- This is the cover letter detailing the parade. The Who, What, When, Where, and we already know why!

Application- You will need to start by printing and filling out the parade application. This will take 5 minutes to fill out, It is important that you fill out as much as possible or to your best judgment. The information supplied in the application goes toward planning and notification about parade related matters only.

Important Information- Now that the application is all filled out. Time to read some important information about the parade. This information may answer may of the questions that you may have about "what to know on parade day". This will make the day go much smoother and enjoyable for everyone.

Grand Marshal Nominations!

If you would like to nominate someone to be the grand marshal of this year's parade. Write a short letter explaining your choice. The person should be someone who has had a impact on the community as a whole. It can be thru social work, public service, or volunteerism in the city of West Peoria.  Please include: Contact information so that we may ask questions if necessary.

Download and print the parade route map. It also makes note of where the bathrooms are located as well as parking for the parade. The map will be invaluable to find where and how to get to everything on parade day.

4th of July Parade and Flag Raising Ceremony Program

The Parade concludes with a Flag Raising Ceremony at the corner of Sterling and Heading Ave. The Senior Summer band will perform a collection of patriotic songs. The Lions Club, a collection of local business, and several local service organizations pass out trophies for Best in Show, Best Juvenile, Best Service Organization, Most Patriotic, and Grand Marshal.
